Everyone Loves Bouncies!

Bouncies from Bohemia are handcrafted in Europe. We are the only authorized importers for the entire North American market, including Canada.

What are Bouncies? Bouncies are handcrafted wooden figures measuring from 5 to 8 inches long which bounce up and down on a spring. They're fun, cute, collectable and unique.

We used to sell these in our retail store (2008-2012) and they were one of our most popular items in our 1500 square foot imported gift and home goods store. We sold 459 in the month of January, 2012 for example. That's not small peanuts. Bouncies paid the rent for our store, with plenty left over.

Our business is growing. After seeing how an entreprenuer grew his business using ads on Craig's List, we thought we would give it a try.

We are offering flexible sales rep positions to qualified persons. You can work when you want to work, and your ability to make money is limitless. It all depends on you. This is NOT some wacky multi-level marketing biz!

Here's what you need to have in order to be a Bouncie Rep:

  • - A bright and lively personality, just like the Bouncies!

  • - Connections. We want you to pitch to stores that you already frequent or know. We don't really like to send you out "cold" unless you are super-confident of a warm reception.

  • - The time to visit your accounts on a monthly basis

Here's how it works

We are already established in more than 60 stores nationwide. See the link to where we have sold or are selling Bouncies here.

Some of those stores might actually fall into your territory. We let you choose the territory that you are comfortable with. Remember, you need to make a commitment to personally visit your customers at least once per month (making allowances of course for your vacations). If we have an existing store in your chosen territory, then you might become that store's rep, earning a commission for work that we've already done. (Some stores may be already be taken care of, we will inform you)

We need personable, friendly people to bring Bouncies to unique, cool boutiques and stores.

Bouncies do best in upscale general gift or themed stores. Bouncies are not for "Big Box" stores. We want to support independent retailers, not corporations. This does not mean that we are opposed to multiple-location retailers. It just mean that we are not interested in Target, Wal-Mart, Toys "R" Us and other mega-stores.

Here are the steps:

1. Choose your Bouncies for your sales kit. You do this through our web site:

www.bounciesfrombohemia.com

This will require you to set up an account with an e-mail address and a password.

No financial information is required to access the wholesale pricing area. We call you later for a brief interview. After you've been accepted as one of our sales reps, we then take your payment for your sales kit. You can make that payment with a personal check or by credit card via a secure link.
We never see your credit card number.

2. Once you have set up an account, you choose the nine Bouncies that you want to have for your sales kit. Why nine? Because that's the amount of Bouncies which fit nicely onto our standard wooden display hanger. That standard display hanger, shown on the web site's "Parts" page, is how your customer is going to display their Bouncies. And take it from us, when you walk into a store with a hanger full of nine Bouncies bouncing, the buyer will laugh and probably not be able to resist placing an order right then and there. (We have done this countless times) Depending on your region, we may make suggestions on what Bouncies to choose for your kit.

3. You need to pay for your sales kit prior to us shipping it to you. You can do this with your credit card via a secure link. We never see your credit card information.

However, you get that money back once you start building your customer base. So, your out of pocket expenses will be zero once you achieve $2,000 in sales.

Your upfront cost will be between $70 - $80. As mentioned, you get 100% of that cost back within a very short time of starting to work with us. (Plus your commission) We will be happy to go over how this works during our phone interview with you.

4. We send you the sales kit that you have chosen, which should consist of nine Bouncies, plus the hanger. (Found in "Parts') We will send you free catalogs, price sheets and other promotional fliers.

At that point, it's up to you! You probably already have a store or two in your area in mind. Quirky, fun, different - that's the perfect environment for Bouncies!

Depending on your region, we may make suggestions on what stores to approach.

We provide:

- Merchandising education
- Coaching anytime you need it
- Order fulfillment, so there is never a need for you to stock inventory yourself. We do that for you.

Now the part you're probably most interested in - show me the money!

Here's what some of our retailers did in sales in the last year:

A gift store in Pennsylvania: $32,500 in orders with a lifetime order total of more than $70K!
A gift shop within a German restaurant in Indiana: $25,000 in orders since 2010
A store at a popular tourist destination in North Carolina: $15,000 in orders (For the 5th year in a row, a combined $75K)
A vendor who sells Bouncies at a popular Farmer's Market has had more than $35,000 in purchases since March, 2014!

If you had these four accounts your annual commissions would be $7,000.

Commissions of 10% are paid on each and every order that results from your efforts. We pay you by check quarterly.

Orders can be submitted by the store themselves, or by you, whatever works between you and your customer. In any case, we code those customer's accounts here in our office so that each time an invoice is generated, you get your 10% commission.

These commissions are paid as long as you remain an active sales rep. To remain "active," you need to visit your customers at least once per month. This helps the customer stay current with new products, plus you will be helping them maintain their inventory. Do you know how many sales we lose each year because the store owner is just too busy to check their inventory? Too many!
